What marina do you fish out of?
- I fish from Tracy Ferry Marina, but can pick you up and drop you off nearly anywhere on the lake.
Can I book multiple days of fishing with you?
- You bet! I have several customers that fish multiple days in a row with me.
How far out do I need to schedule a trip?
- The further out the more likely you are to get a trip scheduled. I fish on average 250 days a year, so I do get booked up fairly quick.
What if I have more than 3 people that want to go fishing?
- That is not a problem. We can only fish a maximum of 3 people per boat, so multiple boats are needed and we can fulfill this request.
Can I bring children?
- Of course you can, kids love to go fishing!
Do you fish for anything besides stripers?
- We are a striper guide service, so our customers typically are looking only for stripers. We do catch other fish though quite often while fishing for stripers. Lunker catfish and bass are caught frequently.
Do I have the proper fishing gear to go fishing with you?
- You don't need to worry about bringing ANY fishing gear with you. We supply everything you need to catch your lunker!
What do I need to bring?
- This varies depending on what time of year we're fishing. Make sure you bring the appropriate clothing and dress accordingly. You should also bring some sunscreen, food, beverages, etc.
Can I bring alcohol?
- Yes, but we ask you keep it within limits for safety reasons.
What is the best time to go fishing for Stripers?
- It depends on what your idea of best fishing is! You can catch huge fish and your limit nearly any time of the year when you go fishing with us, but specific times of the year are better than others. The truly large fish are caught during the colder months. The greater quantity of fish are nomally caught in late August and early September.
Can I bring my dog along?
- Sorry, but no. There are fishing hooks and line on the boat and this would be entirely too dangerous for your pet.
What kind of equipment do you use?
- We use Ugly Stick rods with Abu Garcia reels and Maxima fishing line.
What is the Lake Norfork's striper record?
- A little over 50 lbs.!!!

- You can get a full refund if you cancel 7 or more days out from your scheduled trip.
