About Our Guide Service!

Sorry, your browser doesn't support Java(tm).

I have been a professional striper fishing guide since 1982. We are located at Tracy Ferry Marina in Mountain Home, AR. Lake Norfork is not only one of the prettiest lakes you will ever visit, but it is rated as one of the top trophy striper lakes in the country. View a lake Norfork sunrise.

Why Hire a Guide? Fishing with a Professional Guide puts you in the best place at the best time with the best equipment. With my 20+ years of guiding experience, I know where and when the stripers are biting. Also there is a maximum of safety and a minimum of inconvenience. It is also a great Family Experience, the kids love it.

What are you waiting for?

We fish out of 20' Falcon "Striper King", center console, fiberglass boats with Honda motors. Swivel captain chairs are provided for our customers. By using these boats, we maximize safety, reliability, and comfort.

We provide all bait, tackle, and lures, although feel free to bring your favorite casting rod during top-water action. Our tackle consists of Abu Garcia Ambassadeur 6500C reels on seven-foot Ugly Stick rods, wound with Maxima monofilament
fishing line. Most of my tackle is purchased through Bass Pro Shops. We catch fresh shad every day, which means you will have livelier bait which helps to produce more strikes.

Through their vigorous stocking program, the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission has produced a lake we are fortunate to have. Lake Norfork is full of trophy Striped Bass as well as trophy Hybrid Bass. Every year a number of Stripers in the low to mid-forties are caught and even bigger fish are lost! We are proud to have produced many of these forty-plus pound fish for our customers.
